In general, our research is concerned with the development of quantitative models and methods of operations research in order to provide decision support for practical problems in the area of (production and in particular service) operations management - for better, more systematic and data-driven decision making in complex situations.

Current research areas focus on

  • Sustainable Value Creation (e.g. though Servicizing) & Green Product/Operations Design
  • Strategic Pricing & Tariff Design (Nonlinear Price Optimization)

Our  research projects are application-driven and stimulated by various problems arising in practice. Results are regularly published in international top level scientific journals and presented on academic conferences all over the world.
